7th & 8th Grade Dance Tonight-
The 7th & 8th grade dance is from 5:30-7:30 PM tonight. Please make sure rides are here at 7:30 PM. Please also be careful in the parking lot looking for students going to their cars.
Congratulations Choirs-
Congratulations to all of our choirs! 6th grade, 7th grade and the Uptones (8th grade) all received division 1 ratings at festival on Tuesday! This is the highest score a choir can receive. Our students really sounded wonderful and Mrs. Gray-Roll did a great job conducting!

Upton Planetarium Community Night-
Next Thursday is “Magic Treehouse: Space Mission” in the Upton Planetarium at 6:30pm.
Science Olympiad-
Science Olympiad is on Friday, March 11th at Lake Michigan College. Bus leaves Upton at 7:45am. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Kietzerow at kkietzerow@sjschools.org.

Leaving early for Spring Break? -

Pre-Arranged Absence Form-
If your child will miss more than 3 days of school, please have your child stop in the office at least a week beforehand to pick up a Pre-Arranged Absence Form.
Moving at the end of the school year? -
If your plan is to move and not return to SJPS in the fall, please call the office with those details. You can leave a voicemail message at 269-926-3400, option 5.
Late Start Wednesday-
Next Wednesday, March 9th, will be a late start Wednesday. School begins at 8:45am and breakfast is available starting at 8:15am.
New Prospective Student Day-
We will have a meeting/tour on Wednesday, March 16th at 1:15pm in the Upton Conference Room, near the main office. This meeting is just for potential new 6th-8th grade students & parents beginning at SJPS (not current 5th graders & families) next school year.
