Mandarino Minutes for 4-16-21

 Dear Parents & Guardians,

Division 1 Ratings!!! -

We are so thrilled to report that all of our bands and orchestras received straight division one ratings for their festival performances.  This is the highest ratings they could receive.  We are so proud of the way that they have performed through all the different learning styles (face to face, hybrid, and remote)!  A thanks to Mr. Doe, Mrs. Cabanilla-Sinnett, and Mr. Lokey for their dedication to their students.  We will find out in early May about our choirs, but we know they gave a strong performance as well! 😊

Shared by our interim superintendent-

The BCHD asked us to share that as of April 5th, students ages 16-18 may receive vaccinations.  We feel this is important to share this opportunity in light of the growth of COVID cases in the 19 and under age group.  In the month of March, they make up 25% of all cases. We will have more details on this next week.  IF your 16-18 year old has underlying health conditions, they qualify for the vaccine now.

PLEASE STAY HOME IF ... -

PLEASE STAY HOME-  if anyone in your household is ill AND is getting a COVID test please keep all of your children home from school until you have received negative test results.  We are trying very hard to limit the contact/spread of COVID in our schools.

Thank you for your cooperation!
