Reminder on National Honor Society Tutoring -

The National Honor Society is still offering tutoring  every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday after school from 2:47-3:45pm in the student center at the High School.  Parents or teachers requesting tutoring need to get a tutoring pass from the Upton office the morning the student plans to attend.  Tutoring is located in the student center, through the front doors of the high school.

For students who would like to request a virtual tutoring session, they just need to fill out a Google Form at this link:  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScU5697e4GzlGEMJ_qA_uGKpEewCPbiXd7et_yPPQCyofn2NQ/viewform

Virtual tutoring is available from 3 PM to 7 PM on Sundays through Thursdays. Sessions can be up to 60 minutes.  Your student will receive an email with a Google Meet link for the date and time requested and will log in for some virtual support.

This is a free service provided by the St Joseph High School National Honor Society and we encourage any student who could use a little extra help to take advantage of this support.  Transportation is available to SJHS as well. Virtual students are encouraged to participate as well.

A Note or A Call Please -

REMINDER: When a student is leaving Upton for any reason the student needs to either bring a note to school, a parent/guardian needs to call the office, or the student must call home through the office. Texting or emailing through the classroom is not allowed.

Guidance News for the week-

GUIDANCE NEWS

PERSEVERANCE is our theme for March

From the Huffington Post -What it means to never give up … it really means ““believing in yourself. It means willingness to accept “failure” so you can learn the critical skill of adaptation. It means not compromising on your most important values, and walking the walk, rather than just talking the talk.”

“Energy and persistence conquer all things.” — Benjamin Franklin

Please remember to check our family google site regularly for updates.
