Ari's Bears (A message and great cause from 8th grader Grace Larsen)-
Hi, everyone! Make sure you read this if you want an opportunity to brighten up some kids days. On May 9th one of the strongest people I knew lost her fight. Ariella Stein was a competitive dancer with a great spirit. 2 years ago she was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma cancer. In case you do not know Ewings Sarcoma is a very aggressive bone cancer found in children. During her treatment, she started an organization called Ari’s Bears. This organization gave new bears to children fighting battles in hospitals because she thought it would make them feel better.

I want to help keep her organization going.  I need your help!

1. There will be a bear box set up in the main office until the last day of school where you can bring NEW bears (with tags on it).
2. I can come and pick up new bears from your house.
3. You can drop off new bears to Fusion Center for Dance until June 14th in the collection basket there.
Ariella had a goal of getting to give at least 10,000 children bears. I know we can
reach her goal if everyone helps out!
XXOO,

Grace Larsen
